It remindsme Silent Hill's monster, i think the model and the texture are exelent, verry disturbing image!
Why no try some Clive Barquer's Tortured Souls? they are totaly cool (and disturbing too)

hey, wow you have a lot of technical skill and i like the way you've done his neck, but your background lets the piece down, you need a bit more context or else the picture just looks too empty. i know you've tried to make the person the focus but i think a minimal background to put the person in context would look a lot better.
